As a therapist, I adopt a practical and direct approach, actively engaging in our conversations to assist you in attaining your goals.
HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK FOR MY RELATIONSHIP?
While I cannot offer absolute assurances, I want to emphasize that I firmly believe in the potential for growth, healing, and transformation. These positive changes are a constant presence in my daily work, evident in the progress and improved relationships of my clients.
Consistently, research has emphasized the pivotal role of the client-therapist relationship as a key factor in predicting successful therapy outcomes. It’s for this reason that I provide a complimentary consultation, allowing both of us to determine whether I am the right fit to support your journey toward a positive outcome.
HOW LONG IS THERAPY?
The duration of your therapeutic journey is influenced by several variables, such as your availability, the dynamics of your daily life, the specific nature and urgency of your concerns, and your active participation in the therapy process between our sessions. Existing research indicates that most therapy clients typically experience substantial clinical progress within 12 to 15 sessions, and I hold similar expectations for our collaboration. Some individuals successfully complete their therapeutic goals within this timeframe, while others discover a continued benefit in the therapeutic process and choose to extend their sessions. My primary objective is to assist you in achieving your goals as promptly as possible.
WILL A DIAGNOSIS BE GIVEN?
You have the option to opt out of receiving a diagnosis. Diagnoses will be given solely upon your request, primarily for the purpose of facilitating reimbursement claims with your healthcare insurance provider. Any diagnostic information will be the subject of conversations between you and your therapist, serving the objectives of treatment planning and potential referrals to relevant specialists.
